Visual Arts - Art Studio 10 (Updated May 2024)
Inquiry-Based Learning (Pick - or create - a "performance" category: Sketching, Painting, Sculpting, Dance, Music, Sculpture, Song-Writing, Musical Theatre, Costume-making, Set Design, Poetry, Architecture, Photography, etc.)
Students are encouraged to think outside of the box in multiple artistic disciplines. There will be a visual component all submissions(photos, videos or many other presentation methods).
Students will have VAST10 marksheets shared to their SD53 email address (same address for Teams). Bookmark the marksheet and access it to see updated progress and course grade.
Students should practice citing their sources in this course (some assignments require it). Art history courses usually follow the Chicago style of citation; however, for continuity purposes with students simultaneously completing English 10-12, students are required to cite sources MLA style in this course.
Course written by Zach Goerlitz 2023/2024.
