You will be able to submit images, video, audio, and text in any combination to complete the requirements of your project.
ASSESSMENT:
Option One: Interview
- Introduction includes a bit of background information for your audience and introduces the character you are interviewing.
- Questions are meaningful and help to reveal the characters experiences.
- Critical and creative thinking about the topic is apparent - answers are thoughtful and the character's situation, thoughts, and feelings are demonstrated well.
Option Two: Short Story
- Story includes a background information for your readers and sets up a realistic situation and develops the characters
- Character/s and plot are well-developed. Characters engage in dialogue either with themselves or another character and plot makes sense and is well sequenced.
- Critical and creative thinking is apparent - the character's situation, thoughts, and feelings are demonstrated well.
- Story is well done and shows care and attention to detail.
Option Three: Research Presentation
- Presentation includes some background information for audience
- Research is well-done and represented well in student's own words
- More than one source for information is used. This can be a combination of personal interviews, personal experiences if you visit a site, web sites, newspapers (online), etc. Make sure to include where you got the information (web site address, person, etc. )
- Presentation is well done and uses a combination of text and images to convey what student has learned.
