In this assignment, you will look at two different communities. The first one will be your own. The second will be a community from another country.
You can record the information you find in several ways. You can make a video and narrate the different components of your community, you can make a slide show, or you can write up a report with pictures. As you describe your community, compare and contrast with your non-Canadian community.
Here are the points you need to include about your communities:
- The name of your community
- Where it is located (provide a map)
- Population of community
- Federal government services
- Provincial government services
- Municipal government services
- The area you live in
- What the area is made up of - houses, buildings, stores, parks, etc.
