In this assignment, you will look at two different communities.  The first one will be your own.  The second will be a community from another country.

You can record the information you find in several ways.  You can make a video and narrate the different components of your community, you can make a slide show, or you can write up a report with pictures.  As you describe your community, compare and contrast with your non-Canadian community.

Here are the points you need to include about your communities: 

• The name of your community
• Where it is located (provide a map)
• Population of community
• Federal government services
• Provincial government services
• Municipal government services
• The area you live in
• What the area is made up of - houses, buildings, stores, parks, etc.
