You will be able to submit images, video, audio, and text in any combination to complete the requirements of your project.

Checklist for Project 3 Assessment - Total possible marks = 36

Assessment Scale:

6 = WOW! Amazing. Exceeds expectations.
5 = Very good. Fully meets expectations. Attended to criteria of assignment. 
4 = Good. Meets expectations. A few areas could be enhanced - see teacher feedback.
3 = Minimally meets expectations. Some areas are weak. Attended to some criteria of assignment.

1. Content: 18 marks

  • 6 marks - Introduction - Informs the reader what your project topic is and why you chose it. Provides adequate introductory information about the topic so that the reader understands what you have investigated and/or acted upon.
  • 6 marks - Body Information - Issue and solutions/your actions taken are clearly demonstrated by the project. Understanding of the importance of efforts to act locally to combat global issues apparent. Solutions are clearly discussed and critically evaluated.
  • 6 marks - Conclusion - Summary of information found, problems, and solutions/actions/results is provided.

2. Inquiry and Critical Thinking: 6 marks

  • Investigate/Gather Information -  Information presented is accurate, based on facts, and from reliable sources.
  • Interpret and Analyze - Understanding of information is apparent and put into own words. Problems or concerns identified and explained thoroughly. Solutions are thoroughly explained. Critical thinking and decision making apparent.

3. Organization and Conventions: 6 marks

Final project is:

      Organized well.

      Free from grammatical and spelling errors

4. Presentation: 6 marks

  • Choice of presentation tool is used effectively.
  • Images and creative details to enhance presentation
