3.13 Family Stories Assignment

This is where you submit your recordings for the My Family Stories assignment. Find instructions for the project in the assignment booklet below.

Can you find your own family stories that elders, and relatives have shared for years and years?

Topics: First Peoples, Oral Tradition, Story Telling

You must submit:

  • The Assignment booklet that is attached
  • Story #1: An audio recording of this story told by you
  • Story #2: An audio recording of this story told by you, or a relative if you chose not to write the story.

**To submit an audio recording, take a video but cover the camera so it is simply blank. We just need the audio for this assignment.**

 

 

 

Submitting a video:

Here's how to do it.

  • Do you have a Google account (eg. a gmail account)? If not, you'll need to make one. Once you have an account, go to YouTube.com and Sign In (if you're not already signed in)
    • Go to Google.com
    • Click "Sign-In" (top-right)
    • Create an account (For myself)
  • In the top right, click , then "Upload Video"
  • Drag your video onto the screen (or Select File)
  • Once uploaded, make sure it's either "Public" or "Unlisted"

Submit your new Video Link to your teacher in the project submission area of your course. Put the link in the "online text submission".

Follow the instructions below to upload your assignment booklet.
