Assignment - Do the Research

Now it is your turn to make some decisions about your finances. Your grandparents are willing to gift you $500 to get you started with your own financial future. In order to receive this amount, your grandparents have asked you to do some research that will help you decide what financial institution (Bank or Credit Union) would be best for you.

Financial institutes offer special options for students. You need to consider differences in service features, account options, and many other specifics. It is important to consider what kind of things you would use your accounts for, such as number of debits a month or e-transfers. You need to compare Financial institutions and their options to decide which Financial institution is for you.

THE TASK: Pick 3 financial institutions and compare the services they offer students. Choose at least three criteria that are musts in the services that they offer. After you have done that, you will need to decide which one offers services that fit your needs as a student. Use the results of your research to determine which Financial Institution is right for you.

Make sure you organize your information in a format that is easy for the viewer to compare the information found. Provide a written explanation for your choice including evidence to support your decision.
