Emotional Intelligence
If one has Emotional Intelligence, one has the ability to:
- understand and manage our emotions (self-regulation),
- communicate one's feelings in any given situation (social skills),
- understand the emotions of others (empathy),
- resolve issues with others calmly and work toward a resolution of the issue (motivation),
- understand the perspective of others while being non-judgemental (social skills), and
- recognize the emotions of others and relate to that perspective.
