Unit 2 consists of the following:

• Unit 2 Learning Guide - You must print the Learning Guide and complete it as you work through the unit. You will hand this in at the end of the unit. 
• Four sections 
  • 2.1 - Agricultural Revolution
  • 2.2 - Indus Valley Civilizations
  • 2.3 - Ancient Mesopotamia
  • 2.4 - Ancient Egypt
• Unit test - two composition questions
• Unit project - Research Assignment - Responding to the video "Rethinking Civilization"

Time Management for Unit 2

• Keep in mind that the section assignments in this unit are meant to be completed in less than an hour
• Each quiz will only take a few minutes (there is a timer)
• The unit project is a response assignment that is designed to take about three hours. It will require some organization such as note-taking and outlining. You will have to employ all of the critical thinking skills that you learned in this unit. 
• The unit test should take less than an hour. You must see your teacher to write this.
