Emotional Intelligence

emotional intelligence

If one has Emotional Intelligence, one has the ability to:

  1. understand and manage our emotions (self-regulation),
  2. communicate one's feelings in any given situation (social skills),
  3. understand the emotions of others (empathy),
  4. resolve issues with others calmly and work toward a resolution of the issue (motivation),
  5. understand the perspective of others while being non-judgemental (social skills), and
  6. recognize the emotions of others and relate to that perspective.
Emotions drive learning, decision-making, creativity, relationships and health.
