FIRST ASSIGNMENT - Communautés Francophones
Learning Outcome: Identify and share information about Francophone communities across Canada.
Research a Canadian Francophone community and present your findings in the form of a poster (scan and upload a picture) or digital presentation. Make sure to comment on the cultural aspects, practices, and traditions of your Francophone community.
Topics to cover in your presentation should include:
· Celebrations/Festivals
· Food
· Geography/Territory
· History
· Population
· Anything else you want to add
Create a poster or digital report that summarizes the information you have collected. You must include:
· Information from at least 2 different sources about your community from all of the categories listed above
· A map of Canada with your community’s territory highlighted
Criteria
Poster/Report/PowerPoint
o All information categories are included in your own words
o A map is included
o Pictures are included
o Correct spelling and grammar are used in a neat and legible presentation
o Bibliography is included that lists your sources
Oral Presentation (Extending) – record a video or voiceover to present your project.
o Speak clearly and loud enough to hear
o Share all required information
