Choose a famous creative work from Spanish culture - this can include a well-known movie, book, painting, song, or style of dance
● Compare the Spanish creative work to a comparable creative work in your own culture (e.g. if you chose a movie, compare it to a movie, and book should be compared to a book; your culture can be loosely defined as North American culture for simplicity). For your comparison you may use a Venn diagram or another organizational tool to note the similarities and differences.
● Write a 1-2 paragraph reflection (150-500 words) noting the similarities and differences and discussing the cultural context for the difference. For example, what about the Spanish/North American culture results in a different style of movie/book/song etc.?You will be marked on the 6-point scale below for a total of 30 marks.
