Since you have already selected a country, please continue your research into your chosen country for this activity.

  1. What language(s) and writing system(s) is / are used by the people in your country?
  2. Find out about what school is like for a student in your country and explain as completely as possible.
  3. How is education important to the citizens of this country? Why or why not?
  4. Does the importance of education vary for boys and for girls?  Explain. 
  5. What is the literacy rate for this country?
  6. Compare your school day with a student that is going to school in the country that you are studying. What things are the same? What things are different?

You can represent your research in a variety of ways. You can create a slide show using PowerPoint or Google slides.  Make sure to include images. You may also write a short story that addresses the question prompts from above.   

When you are finished your work, submit below.
