1.2 Pre-Reading Assignment

Completion requirements
Receive a grade

Please submit your 1.2 Your Turn: Pre-Reading Assignment here. It will be worth a total of 12 marks, with 2 marks for each of the following steps:

  1. Find the author`s name and book title.

  2. Look at the pictures.

  3. Read the book summary and review.

  4. Look at charts. (If there are no charts, you can skip this one).

  5. Look for big ideas.

  6. Read the first and last sentence from a paragraph from the sample chapter.

  7. Ask questions! Come up with at least two questions you have about the book.

For steps 2 - 7 above, write at least one paragraph. For number seven, simply write your list of questions. Answer in full sentences and always check your work over for conventions (such as capitals), usage (grammar), punctuation, spelling - CUPS!
