The goal here will be to put your research skills to the test. You know how to vet resources and how to narrow your search topics.
Choose one nation from the following sites to research in-depth, way back to the earliest record you can find.
Review the lessons on Indigenous histories, oral traditions, sacred knowledge, and protocols.
Write 1-2 paragraphs of no more than 300-600 words where you introduce the nation and trace the history to the present day as best as you can. Answer the following questions: Does the nation have a robust record of its history? Why or Why not? What made you choose to research this particular nation? What is one awesome thing you have learned about them?
Edit your work closely for errors and clarity.
This assignment will require that you use direct quotes and paraphrasing from your research as support. Be sure to cite all sources of information using MLA format.
Submit your work as one document with the Works Cited page attached.
