Your task is to evaluate the quality of three frozen pizzas. They should all have the same flavour/toppings, but be different brands. So pick your favourite pizza flavour. For example, if you like ham and pineapple, then all three of the pizzas need to be ham and pineapple. 

You will need to purchase these from the grocery store, and it is important to note the price of each so you can figure out the cost per serving. You also need to save the boxes and labels for the next assignment.

There will be two people needed to taste test for this assignment. You will taste the pizza and report on it. You also need to have a second person to sample and report on the pizzas too. It can be a parent, guardian, sibling, friend, neighbour, etc. 

For each pizza, make sure you read and carefully follow the cooking instructions. Each pizza may have a different temperature or time to cook it for. So you may have to cook the pizzas one at a time if that is the case.

Once your pizzas are cooked and cooled, taste them and take notes. Decide which is your favourite out of the three and be able to explain why with specific details. Use your five senses in the description. Do not just say you like #1 because it tasted the best. You need to explain what factors made it taste better to you. 

Next, ask your taste tester to do the same. They cannot know which pizza is which brand. Label them Pizza 1, 2, and 3.  Ask them to evaluate each pizza for its taste, texture, smell, and appearance. Ask them to use their five senses in detail and to give clear examples and concrete explanations for why they preferred or didn't prefer each pizza. 

You will then use the box/label information to complete the rest of the comparison chart regarding cost, ingredient information, and nutrition facts. 

Once the chart is complete, answer the follow-up questions relating to the results.
