Assignment - S.M.A.R.T. Goals
Your task:
Remembering the meaning of S.M.A.R.T. goals, complete setting a goal and how you will accomplish the goal.
Part A - Review the following goals and change them into S.M.A.R.T. goals.
- "Do well in school."
- "Get a job"
- "Workout more"
- "Save enough for university"
- Win an Oscar Award."
Part B - Beside identifying a goal, it is important to have a strategy to complete the goal.
Review the goals below and identify a specific strategy how you will achieve the goal.
- "Find a part-time job for the summer."
- "Volunteer 3 hours a week."
- "Save at least $3000 by September."
- "Read at least 3 books per month."
- "Bike to school every day."
Part C - Reflection
Respond to the following questions.
- What goal(s), currently, is the most important to you and why?
- How will you achieve this goal(s)?
- Why is writing out your goals, and strategies to complete, important?
- What long-term goal do you wish to achieve? How do you plan to achieve this goal?
