The Core Competencies are the intellectual, personal, and social skills that all students need to develop for success in life beyond school.  BC has identified three Core Competencies – Communication, Thinking and Personal and Social Competency as essential for all learners.

Core Competencies are a way to represent the transferable learning that you have done in all areas of education. Think about the skills that you have developed in your education, including this course and your Capstone Project, and how they have prepared you for life after high school.
