Celine Dion is one of the most talented French Canadian pop singers. Born March 30, 1968, Charlemagne, Quebec. Celine Dion's powerful and extraordinary voice quickly spread across the province of Quebec, bringing people together and showing how music can affect society. Celine also brought society together with the use of her native language through music. Outside of music her contributions are just as great, Charity Work, Events and Causes such as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As one of the most recognized French Canadian Artists, Celine has done much for the people of Canada, In my opinion Céline Dion may arguably be one of the most famous Francophone Canadians ever.

Marie Rose-Anne Travers was a widely popular folk singer and musician who reached the peak of her career in the 1930s. She was then known as "The Queen of Canadian Folk Singers", and is often viewed as Quebec's first singer-songwriter. She was born on June 4, 1894 and passed away at 46 years old in 1941. Known as Madame Bolduc or La Bolduc, she was well known for her astonishing talent, (displayed from an early age), and her lively, comic songs and humourous depiction of everyday life through her music. The daily troubles and occupations of ordinary people are displayed in such of her songs as "La Grocerie du coin" and "L'Enfant volé". The style of her music merged the traditional folk music of Quebec and Ireland, since she was of mixed Irish and French heritage. La Bolduc proved influential in her short life by immortalizing her style of music and becoming a true legend as well as a remarkable illustration of a successful, accomplished French Canadian woman.
